1. Facially-Driven Smile Design
Rather than move your teeth just to straighten them, our guiding philosophy is to move your teeth to where they most harmoniously balance with the rest of your face. After all, you only want to undergo treatment once so why not plan for the absolute best aesthetic outcome from the start?
To achieve this, we capture a comprehensive set of digital records (including 3D x-ray and scans, photos and video) and rather than send them directly to Invisalign for their non-clinical technicians to plan your tooth movements, we share your digital records with our specialist team of facially-driven smile designers in Madrid.
Together, we analyse key landmarks on your face to guide the design of a smile that's in complete balance with your face.
In many ways, comparing the conventional Invisalign method to the HD Invisalign Method is a bit like comparing a kit-set house with an architecturally designed home that's been crafted to blend beautifully with its surrounds.
We call this Facially-Driven Smile Design and it's the cornerstone to enjoying a naturally beautiful smile you'll wear with confidence.
2. Custom Smile Test-Drive
You wouldn't buy a new car without first taking it for a spin. So why should your new smile be any different?
That's why once we've designed the ideal smile that completely harmonises with your face, we don't automatically assume you'll love it.
Rather, we go to extraordinary lengths for you to actually experience the look and feel of your ideal smile - before you commit to any treatment.
In essence, we clip-on a set of custom 3D-printed enamel shells that emulate your ideal smile over the top of your teeth (don't worry, this is quick, easy and doesn't involve any drilling) before performing a "before and after" photo- and video-shoot in our portrait studio.
Not only does this allow you to physically and emotionally experience your ideal smile from the outset, more importantly, it empowers you to give active, meaningful input into its design.
In this way, our smile test-drive transforms you from a passive recipient into an integral co-author of the smile you'll ultimately wear for the rest of your life.

3. Collaborative Planning
Arguably one of the most critical steps in determining the success of your treatment is how your Invisalign treatment plan (a.k.a. ClinCheck) is formulated. That's because the individual tooth movements that are programmed into Invisalign's software need to translate into predictable movements in your mouth.
So while your ClinCheck may look impressive on a computer screen, that's no guarantee you'll experience the same outcome in your mouth.
This is where years of clinical experience is required to modify your ClinCheck so that the computer-simulated tooth movements actually take place in your mouth.
Now as amazing as Invisalign's ClinCheck technicians are at what they do, the truth of the matter is, they don't possess any clinical experience.

4. Treatment Acceleration
Mindful that we all lead busy lives and are always looking for ways to save time, we harness a range of technologies that simultaneously reduce your treatment time and increase your treatment predictability.
These technologies include orthodontic auxiliaries, Propel vPro, digitally-guided TAD's and SFOT.
Now don't be too concerned with what these all mean. I cover each of these technologies in great detail elsewhere.

5. Dynamic Virtual Monitoring
Yet another way we respect your time in the pursuit of increased treatment-predictability is our adoption of Dental Monitoring.
What's Dental Monitoring?
In a nutshell, this revolutionary technology allows our team to monitor your treatment progress with greater frequency and accuracy, without you having to physically see us.
For all but the most straightforward of Invisalign cases, we supply our patients with Dental Monitoring's cheek retractor and Scan Box. These attach to your smart phone which together allow you to quickly and easily scan your teeth from the comfort and convenience of your own home.
Not only does this reduce the number of times you need to visit our studio (saving your time and money), if your treatment starts to go off-track for any reason, we'll detect it right away while it's still easy to get back on track.
In this way, our adoption of Dental Monitoring affords you greater freedom and flexibility during treatment while simultaneously saving you time, money and unnecessary delays.
6. Collaborative Care
As mentioned above, Dental Monitoring empowers us to detect any treatment deviations very early on, while they're still easily correctable.
However, it's possible to go through an entire set of aligners only to find out at the end that your bite isn't quite right. This then necessitates another set of aligners, often times doubling your overall treatment time.
So rather than wait until the end, our DSD orthodontists check-in on your progress at key stages during your treatment.
In this way, should your bite not be responding as planned, we can prescribe a new set of aligners much sooner than normal, again saving you precious time.
What's more, if any if your teeth are particularly challenging, having direct access to internationally recognised orthodontists affords us specialist experience and guidance to overcome these challenges and in turn maximise the predictability of your care.
Knowing you have specialist supervision and guidance throughout your treatment combined with the convenience and affordability of local care is both incredibly rare and incredibly reassuring.
7. Quality Control
Every time we finish a course of Invisalign, we take a new set of digital scans and photos of your smile which we share with our DSD team in Madrid.
Using these records, the DSD team overlaps your post-Invisalign tooth positions with the ideal tooth positions we had originally planned as part of your smile design to make sure your teeth are exactly where we need them to be. If they aren't, then we can refine them with a short course of aligners... and if they are, then we can finish off your smile transformation.
This is a critical step that very few Invisalign providers offer.
