Review Our Fees

If you're like most people, you probably think going to the dentist is expensive. While it's easy to focus all your attention on the "bill" at the end of your appointment, what's often overlooked is...

1) the biological value of having a healthy mouth;

2) the emotional value of having a confident smile; and

3) the significant overheads of providing state-of-the-art care.

In order to help you prepare for your care, we invite you to review our fee schedule.

Being transparent with our fees is yet another way to demonstrate our trustworthiness.

Our Fee Schedule

While everyone's situation is unique, what follows is an accurate indication of our services and associated fees.

Initial Examination

If you're looking to establish and maintain optimal dental health, we offer two levels of comprehensive dental examination along with a separate test-drive of your dream smile.

Platinum Exam: $250

Interdisciplinary Planning And Smile Test-Drive: $1,450

Consultations and X-Rays

If you have a solitary dental concern you'd like us to assess, a consultation may be your best option. However, if you have more than one concern, a Platinum Exam would be the better and more cost-effective option.

Consultation (per tooth/condition): $55

In-Mouth X-Ray: $44

Full Mouth X-Ray (OPG): $135

3D Cat-Scan (CBCT): $395

ACC Part-Payments

As an ACC provider, we're able to take care of treatment covered by ACC. If you're under 18 years of age, ACC will cover your entire fee.

However, if you are over 18 years of age, you will need to pay a private fee to cover ACC's shortfall.

For your initial consultation (not including any treatment), you can expect your private shortfall to be between $90 - $125.

Dental Hygiene

We're proud to be the West Coast's only provider of EMS Airflow to clean your teeth more thoroughly and gently than a conventional hygiene. Your fee depends on both the amount of build up on your teeth and extent of gum disease.

30 Minute Hygiene: $165

45 Minute Hygiene: $210

60 Minute Hygiene: $260

Please note, if you would like to have your teeth cleaned without first seeing one of our dentists for a full examination, there will be an additional one-time fee of $75 for our hygienist to assess the health of your gums.

Composite (White) Fillings

Composite fillings provide a more affordable aesthetic option to placing ceramic restorations. The fees vary based on the number of surfaces of a tooth that need restoring.

Front Teeth: $290 (one surface) - $580 (4 or more surfaces)

Back Teeth: $310 (one surface) -$695 (4 or more surfaces)

Amalgam (Silver) Fillings

While used infrequently, amalgam fillings provide you with a more durable and more affordable option to composite or ceramic restorations.

One Surface: $280

Two Surfaces: $345

Three Surfaces: $395

Four or More Surfaces: $425

Extractions

We're able to extract all but the most difficult teeth in-house.

Conventional Extraction: $325

Surgical Extraction: $525

Surgical Wisdom Tooth Extraction: $1,100

Please note, these fees do not include any x-rays that may be required to assess your tooth prior to extraction. In addition, there are economies of scale if we need to extract more teeth in one session.

Root Canal Treatment (Root Fillings)

Our fees to perform root canal therapy varies depending on what type of tooth needs treatment.

Incisor/Canine (Front) Tooth: $1,520

Premolar (Middle) Tooth: $1,780 (includes 3D CAT Scan)

Molar (Back) Tooth: $1,990 (includes 3D CAT Scan)

Please note, these fees are to perform the root canal treatment on your affected tooth. There will be an additional fee to place the final restoration on the tooth once root canal therapy is complete.

Veneers, Crowns and Bridges

We offer a full range of composite, ceramic and gold veneers, onlays, crowns and bridges.

Composite Veneer: $650

Ceramic Veneer: $2,100

Gold or Ceramic Inlay/Onlay: $2,100

Gold or Ceramic Crown: $2,400

Ceramic Bridge: $3,600 (2-unit) - $5,400 (3-unit)

Dental Implants

Every 5-6 weeks, our visiting Implant Surgeon flies down from Auckland to perform all our implant surgery in-house.

Our fee to surgically place an implant is $3,500 and our feee to place a ceramic crown on that implant is $3,000.

Invisalign (Tooth Straightening)

We're proud to be the West Coast's only resident Invisalign provider.

While the fee to straighten your teeth depends on the complexity of your bite, you should budget between $6,000 for simple cases and up to $11,000 for complex cases.

Tooth Whitening

Our custom at-home tooth whitening system is a fantastic way to give your smile a burst of freshness.

Upper & Lower Whitening: $595

Removable Dentures

While we're unable to perform same-day denture repairs or immediate full dentures, we do offer a range of removable denture options to replace your missing teeth.

Valplast Denture: $1,550

Plastic Partial Denture: $1,750

Chrome Partial Denture: $2,900

Full Upper or Lower Denture: $2,750

Please note, before we can make you a partial denture, you will first need to see us for a Platinum Exam to ensure your remaining teeth are strong enough to support your partial denture.
